During the 2 days, there were VIPs there to officiate the event. In fact, there are also "Gala Dinner" which Uncle Michael & myself attended the dinner which was on Saturday right after the "Criterium" & "Fun Ride" finishes.
Moving on, it was an early event where most of the officials reached there 6am sharp to ensure everything are ready before 7.30am.
One, two, three........*Honk*.........All the riders race off for the challenge ride of 40KM & 110KM. The 40KM covers the route to Bako while the 110KM covers the route from "BCCK" till "Damai Beach" back again all the way to "Bako" and back to "BCCK".
It is in fact a very tough challenge as the weather during that day was extremely hot. Some couldn't make it and some was send to hospitals.
So, on the other hand, was handled by me and 2 other EMY's. We were there to set up the Parasol at the "Water Station" given by the organizer together with the crew from the Organizer.
oooooo....And guess what, we came across a "SNAKE" while we drove by. We were extremely shocked.
Mei Qing: Michelle thought she ran over the snake.....=/
Ming Sze: Apparently she didn't cause I saw the snake still moving.
Michelle: Well that was a relieved not to ran over the snake. Haha
Moving along, as you can see the participants slowly reached to the Water Station and most of them had RED BULL and thereafter with Isotonic Drinks (100 Plus).... ^^
While on the finishing point, there goes another 2 of our EMY there to ensure the participants are energized. Seeing all the participants reached the "Finishing Point" and relaxing.
One of the Riders getting energized.
And of course not to forget the medals.........
